Women Go Gliding Weekend
26th April 2025 - 27th April 2025

This is a time when we invite women from all walks of life to join us and experience the joy and excitement of gliding in the wide blue skies over Dorset.
Women are encouraged to come to the airfield and take an Aerotow Flight in a two-seat training aircraft with one of our qualified instructors, rising to a height of two thousand feet, before a gentle glide back to the club.
As well as the flying, this is a weekend of questions and answers; lots of tea, coffee and cake, buns and bacon butties.

Vintage Glider Meet
2nd May 2025 - 5th May 2025

The number of visiting gliders is limited to 10 on this occasion, on a first come first served basis. The airfield is surrounded by beautiful Dorset scenery, with the Jurassic Coast about 11 km to the south and Poole Harbour to the east.
The Clubhouse has catering facilities limited to teas and coffees and is unable to provide accommodation. Camping and caravans are welcome. A BBQ will be arranged for the Saturday night, 3 May.
A charge of £10 per day will be made for those attending this event to cover costs.

Mid-Summer Motor Glider Fly-in & Gourmet BBQ

Join us for the UK's premier Motor Glider Fly-in at Eyres Field, nestled in the heart of Dorset's Isle of Purbeck. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Jurassic Coast, from Swanage to Weymouth Bay, including Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. We welcome all flyers, especially SLMG and TMG pilots, to experience our renowned hospitality with a chef-cooked BBQ featuring locally sourced steaks, pork chops, marinated chicken, and top-quality sausages from Jurassic Coast Meats at Fossil Farm.
